1. All Beta-Pro tissue and isolates are derived from pancreata of multi-organ donors not placed for whole organ transplantation. The costs of organ procurement, processing, handling, and delivery of tissue and isolates are recovered by Beta-Pro.

Beta-Pro LLC does not charge for the tissue of human beings. The fees that Beta-Pro LLC charges are for the
services of organ procurement, processing, preservation, quality control, storage, handling and delivery of islets, other biomaterials, and biological data.

Beta-Pro (www.betaprollc.com) is dedicated to compliance with all existing federal, state, and institutional requirements pertaining to
the collection and use of cells. Strict procedures are in place to protect the privacy and confidentiality of all volunteer donors,
including coding procedures for cells and associated clinical information, so that a donor’s identity is inaccessible to Beta-Pro and researchers.
