Cellular RNA Extraction

Beta-Pro offers total cellular RNA isolated from islet and non-islet pancreatic cells. Upon special request, we can also provide RNA for study from Type II diabetic donors.

Cellular Protein Lysate

Beta-Pro offers protein digests from pancreatic cells (islet and non-islet). Upon researcher request, we can also provide protein isolated from pancreatic cells of Type II diabetic donors.

Islets and tissue are derived from pancreata of multi-organ donors not placed for whole organ transplant.
Beta-Pro LLC does not charge for the tissue of human beings. The fees that Beta-Pro LLC charges are for the
services of organ procurement, processing, preservation, quality control, storage, handling and delivery of islets, other biomaterials, and biological data.

Beta-Pro (www.betaprollc.com) is dedicated to compliance with all existing federal, state, and institutional requirements pertaining to
the collection and use of cells. Strict procedures are in place to protect the privacy and confidentiality of all volunteer donors,
including coding procedures for cells and associated clinical information, so that a donor’s identity is inaccessible to Beta-Pro and researchers.
