 Joe Shields
Director of Marketing Communications
Joe Shields is the director of marketing communication for Beta-Pro, where he oversees mecical writing, grant writing, web site development, search engine marketing, corporate communications, and media relations. In addition to working for Beta-Pro, Mr. Shields directs PR, Internet marketing, and corporate philanthropy for PBM Products and its affiliate companies, including PBM Nutritionals, PBM Covington, and PBM Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Shields is a graduate of the University of Maryland - University College Graduate School of Management and Technology, where he earned an M.B.A. with an emphasis in marketing. He completed his undergraduate work at Roanoke College, where he earned a B.A. in English with a concentration in communications. He is enrolled in the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) core certificate program and is a certified Yahoo! Search Marketing Ambassador.
